The 1775 Classic Sport is part of the new Classic Series.  It is designed with exclusive Lund fishing features and the heavy-duty construction that has come to symbolize the brand. 1775 Classic Sport series come standard with aerated livewells with baitwells, spacious lockable rod storage and ample floor space for easy fishability. And, like airplanes, semi-truck trailers, bridges and buildings that move under tremendous stress, all Lund Classic models feature the highest-quality riveting, plus double-riveted seams to withstand the rigors of constant pounding. We like to say It’ the Lund you’ve always wanted at the price you’ve been waiting for, says Boyne.

We hear from lots of people that they would sure like to find a more economical way to get into a genuine Lund fishing boat, and with the Classic we think we’re giving them exactly what they want.

According to Boyne, one thing that separates Lund Classics from competitor boats at a similar price point is the Classic’ Integrated Power Strake (IPS) hull. Lund’ breakthrough IPS design is a package that optimizes the benefits of three components: the power strake, the reverse chine and the footprint. Boyne says it’ this combination that produces a ride that is faster, higher, smoother and drier. IPS also improves overall boat control and allows planing at the slowest speeds, and it enhances fuel efficiency when combined with today’ advanced outboards. The wider IPS footprint creates more interior floor space, which is especially important to anglers.

Classics are also built with SportTrak, a channel that runs along the interior of the new gunwale. Optional rod holders, drink holders and other accessories attach to SportTrak brackets that can be placed and moved anywhere along the SportTrak, which means you no longer have to drill holes in your boat to add accessories. All models are also designed with Lund’ patented ProTrak channel that fits up and under the top of the gunwale’ exterior. Within this channel are adjustable snaps that are designed to secure an optional ProTrak cover. When snapped in place, the cover fits under the gunwale to achieve the ultimate weathertight fit. Air can circulate under the ProTrak cover to enhance ventilation, but the elements can’t get under the cover and into the boat.

The 17-foot, three-inch 1775 Classic comes standard with a bilge pump, battery storage, bow casting platform with storage, deck mounting pad, premium pedestal seats with no-pinch seat hinges and easy-change recessed pedestal seat bases, easy-clean vinyl main floor with marine-grade carpeting on casting platforms, plug-in wire harness, navigational lighting, multiple storage compartments, a wider beam for a smoother ride, and a deep, family-friendly cockpit. 1775 Classic Sport also has a built-in fuel tank.

1775 Classic Sport comes standard with a Minn Kota Powerdrive 55 trolling motor, and either a Lowrance X-47 or Navman 4430 fish locator. The optional Classic Crappie Editions that feature extra seat bases in the bow. All Lund models are also backed by Lund’ number-one limited lifetime warranty.
