How long have you been fishing?

Since I was about 6, which is now going on 38 yrs.

What inspired you to become a Lund Pro-Staff?

Lund is the most durable and well designed fishing boat. That's what I need.

Can you tell us the largest fish you have ever caught?

30 lb plus club includes - Sailfish, Carp, and Musky in that order.

Where are you from?

Grew up in the Niagara Region of Ontario, but now reside in Ottawa.

Where do you mostly fish and what tournaments can we see you in this season?

Occasionally I will fish tournaments, but my primary contribution to the industry is through writing. So I tend to move around a lot researching new ideas and fishing with various experts and professional anglers.

What is the best fishing tip that you ever received?

Not so much a tip as a philosophy - Exceptional results tend to be the product of exceptional effort!

In what ways are you involved in the angling community?

Field editor/contributor to several fishing magazines.

What is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever bought?

A telephone plan with Bell Canada.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

You only live once, so don't fret the small stuff.

Respect for Life.

What was the best year of your life?

The one I'm living right now.

What’s your worst habit?

A bit stubborn at times.
