1800 Sport Angler

Lund has a steep tradition of building the finest fishing boats.  The new 1800 Sport Angler and its big brother the 2000 Sport Angler are two more great fishing boats built in the Lund tradition. The Sport Angler models are designed to accommodate several styles of hardcore anglers – from northern big water walleye anglers to southern crappie anglers to northwestern salmon anglers. Built on Lund’ exclusive IPS^TM hull, it has an 18’ 6” centerline length and 97” beam.

Lund’ Integrated Power Strake^TM (IPS) hull provides a higher running, drier boat with the reverse chines and center running strake.  This better running hull is more fuel efficient as it provides more lift than a traditional v-bottom hull while retaining the smooth running, wave-cutting capabilities of a v-hull.  IPS hulls are wider at the waterline for a more stable boat that is better able to accommodate larger horsepower engines, larger live wells, bigger fuel tanks and more gear.  This wider hull also means more useable space in the boat for a more comfortable, more fishable boat.

Sport Angler has a huge, spacious cockpit for great fishing access to downriggers or for a shad tank.  Two comfortable premium seats are standard.  Seven seat bases give a variety of seating options.  Unique, optional, side-facing seats provide comfortable seating while maintaining an open cockpit.  The 40” live well is insulated for double duty use as a cooler.  An aft cutting board is a handy place to cut bait.  A wash station is mounted under the cutting board.  Lund’ exclusive Sport Trak^TM extrusion offers an easy and functional method to mount, adjust and move accessories like rod holders, drink holders, depthfinders and GPS units without drilling holes in the boat.  Unique rod holders mounted to the Sport Trak provides an adjustable rod storage system to hold eight rods, four 10 footers and four 9 footers.  The incorporated Pro Trak^TM system offers a convenient system for attaching an optional cockpit cover to protect your boat from the elements.  The 41 gallon fuel tank provides excellent range with a wide variety of today’ efficient outboard motors. 

The optional washdown system is a great addition to keep the boat clean.  The optional complete top protects occupants from the elements.  The drop curtain allows easy access to the back of the boat with plenty of fishing room.
