Lake Winnipeg/ Lake of the Woods.
Walleye and Musky.
I love everything to do with the outdoors and with that I do my best to bring my family into the outdoors and spend time at our family cottage.
Dropshot. I can’t tell you how many tough bites I’ve turned around by tossing the bling back in the tackle box and putting down a dropshot. We all know it works for bass, but I’ve done it over and over again with crappie, walleye, catfish, some trout, I’ve even caught musky on them. They work on lakes, they work on rivers, on the bottom, suspended, casting, dragging, vertical. It’s just so versatile and can be adjusted to suit any structure, match any forage.
My daughter.
The most important lessons are taught deep in the lion’s den. Don’t be afraid to walk in but be ready to fight your way out.
Cobia.
All things shall pass. The good and the bad. It’s not synonymous with ability or knowledge, it’s just simply an opportunity to grow. Always upwards…
As a rule, I weight these factors in this order in my initial approach. Target Species > Season > Forage > structure(s). I like to look at new water like a math or science problem. Figure out your answer first in a target hypothesis and work backwards, eliminating the numerous variables, until you get closer and closer to result you want. More fish!
Lund boats have played a role in every single level of angling, in every size and type of water body. From a tinner being flown on the float struts of a plane, to the most remote waters in the continent, and to a high gloss GL being dipped into the most extreme tournament venues. Or teenager throwing a bare bones 12’ aluminum boat in the back of a pickup, to a guide loading his trusting clients on a top end charter. Lund has made boats for everyone in all situations and walks of life for every single angling condition you can think of. There isn’t a boat brand anywhere that spurs angling memories like Lund.
